An honest pricing model has no hidden incentives.
Most AI coding tools have a structural conflict between margin and your wallet: they pay for inference, mark it up, and need you to use more tokens to make their unit economics work. The longer you stay on autopilot, the better their P&L looks.
aiworklab's incentives are different. We charge you a flat amount for the teaching layer; you bring your own LLM. We never see your token bill, never mark it up, and have no commercial reason to nudge you toward more agent calls. The product gets out of the way as you get better. That's the whole point.
The trade-off: you handle your own inference. We think that's a fair price for transparency, and BYO has gotten dramatically easier in 2026. One-click sign-in with Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, or auto-detection of a local model running on Ollama. Most users are working in under sixty seconds.
