Terms of service

Effective date · 1 May 2026 Last updated · 1 May 2026 Version · 1.0

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the aiworklab product, website, and related services ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who you are agreeing with

"aiworklab" or "we" refers to aiworklab, an unincorporated business operating from 600 California Street, 11th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94108, USA. We will update this section if and when our legal entity changes.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you are using aiworklab on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. The Service

aiworklab is a workspace and teaching layer that runs on top of third-party agent harnesses (such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex CLI, OpenCode, and T3 Code) and uses LLMs that you provide ("Bring Your Own Model"). We do not host inference and we do not relay LLM traffic.

Your use of any third-party model or harness is governed by the terms of that third party. We are not a party to those agreements and are not responsible for the third party's actions.

4. Your content & ownership

You own your code. You own the content of your prompts. You own the diffs your agent produces. We claim no licence to any of it.

To the limited extent we receive any content (e.g. concept‐level skill-graph data via opt-in cloud sync, or content you send us via support email), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, and transmit it solely to operate the Service for you. We will not use your content to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law; (b) use the Service to violate any law or third party's rights; (c) attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service or other users; (d) circumvent rate limits, billing, or access controls; (e) use the Service to develop a competing product by copying its non-public interfaces or design.

6. Plans, fees, and refunds

Free tier is free. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as you select. Fees are charged in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law or as set out below:

  • Pro: 14-day no-questions refund from first paid invoice.
  • Team: 14-day no-questions refund from first paid invoice (annual plans pro-rated).
  • Enterprise: refund terms governed by the executed Order Form / MSA.

You can cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; we don't claw back time you've already paid for.

7. Beta features

Some features are explicitly marked "alpha", "beta", or "preview." These are provided as-is, may change or disappear without notice, and are not subject to any service‐level commitment.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, or if required by law. We will give reasonable notice unless an immediate suspension is necessary to prevent harm. On termination we will delete your data on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE OUTPUT OF ANY THIRD-PARTY LLM WILL BE ACCURATE OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR USE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL aiworklab BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR US$100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold aiworklab harmless from any claims arising out of your violation of these Terms, your content, or your use of the Service in breach of applicable law.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to a jury trial.

13. Changes to these Terms

If we make a material change, we'll email registered users at least 14 days before it takes effect. By continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't accept them, stop using the Service.

14. Miscellaneous

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and aiworklab on the subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
